About My Business
Welcome to Home on the Range Pet Sitting LLC. My name is Kelley Richie, and I would like to share some of my background with you. First and foremost, I love animals! Dogs have been a big part of my life since my parents bought our first dog when I was four. Although I’ve had at least one dog in my life ever since, there has been a variety of other pets in my life, including cats, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, rabbits, and ferrets.

German Shorthair Pointers have been my primary breed for many years. My husband & I currently have 6 German Shorthair Pointers “fur kids and 2 cats.”

I have worked in the Heavy Duty Trucking business, parts sales and services for 35 years. I also have 6+ years of pet sitting experience. One day, I decided to embrace an opportunity to “re-invent” myself. I wanted to work with and care for animals, while pursuing my passion for excellence in customer service and utilizing my business and animal care experience. The idea of starting my own pet sitting business was a natural fit.

I am licensed, insured, bonded, certified in first aid & CPR and a member of NAPPS (National Association of Pet Sitters), the largest organization of professional pet sitters.

Hi, I'm Erika. I recently married the love of my life and I'm a third generation Elko native. Most importantly however, I love my job! I have a wide range of interests and animals top the list. I've spent more than half my life in animal services, acquiring a wealth of information on shy, timid, scared pets, as well as administering medications. There's always something new to learn as every home and pet is unique. I have two dogs of my own and couldn't imagine a single day without a furry(feathered or scaled) friend. I can't wait to meet yours!

Hi! My name is Tina but many people call me Dog Mom. I had a doggy daycare called "Dog Mom's". But I am a Cat Mom too. I can't remember a day in my life without dogs and cats. I am a Southern California beach girl that moved here 35 years ago to get away from traffic. I love it here. My husband and I have three golden retrievers and one cat. They are our kids. I have had lots of experience with animals. I went to professional dog training school in Arizona, taught dog obedience, worked for a vet for 9 years, and a groomer for two. My husband and I own Pizza Barn and that keeps me busy, but life wouldn't be complete without caring for animals. I have loved Kelley's pet sitting services since she started it. I am so thrilled to be part of her team.

Hello! My name is Alea, I have 3 children, 4 dogs, 2 cats, a cockatiel, frog, and a couple of fish. I live in Spring Creek, but am from Utah. I am fortunate to have a husband that has let me do what I love - be a Stay at Home Mom to my kids, and animals for many years. I have fostered, tamed, and rehomed feral kittens during that time, and during my childhood. I love playing with animals, and teaching them tricks. My cats will even sit, and stand on their back legs for me (and treats!) I love furry, and feathered animals, and learning as much as I can about them. I am excited to get to meet new furry friends to play with!

have lived in the Salt Lake, Provo area of Utah my whole life. I came here when I meet my husband and have been here for around 7 years now. I have always loved animals. I have had a pet of some sort my whole life. You know that you love animals more then people when your own father warns your boyfriend while he asked for your hand in marriage. We have 4 dogs, 2 cats, a turtle and fish right now. I can't wait to meet all of your animals.

Born and raised in Elko, I grew up with seven siblings and many pets! I have cared for chickens, ducks, several dogs and dozens of cats! I always had a handful of critters to look after and enjoyed the precious memories. As a local artist in personalized paintings, I especially enjoy painting animals as well as caring for them.  I am the proud mother of two green cheek conures, Pistachio and Arya. Pistachio is three years old and Arya just turned one in January 2020. I plan on utilizing my drafting and design degree to design my own mini aviary for my birds, in hopes of owning a few more feather babies, as well as fur babies!

Hello, my name is Tess. I have been in the animal care business for many years so the transition to pet sitting seemed a natural thing to do. I am a horse trainer and have operated a training and boarding stable in Spring Creek for 25 years. I am a proud wife, mom and grandmother. I own 3 horses, 2 golden retrievers and 2 cats. I was raised on a ranch and cannot remember a time that animals and their care were not a part of my life. Being a business owner in the animal industry,
I understand the importance of caring for animals, as well as putting the owners at ease knowing theirmembersofthefamilyarebeingtakencareofwhiletheyareaway. Iamabsolutelythrilled to be part of Kelley’s team!

My name is Felicia Miller. I have lived in Spring Creek for over 10 years but am a lifelong Nevada resident. I am a stay at home mom to a cute little girl and we have 3 adorable rescues: Tank (rott/shepherd), Lyla (kelpie/lab), and Nana (shorthair/border collie). I have had dogs of all kinds my whole life and don’t know what we’d do without them! All animals are truly amazing and I can’t wait to meet yours!

Hi my name is Jenny and I would love to be your pet sitter.

From a young age I have always had animals around me as my mother enjoyed the company of many types of critters. She indulged my passion of the small furry kind. As I got older I took on more responsibility and now I share my love of animals with my husband and kids.

Currently I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets and 5 fish.

To date other animals I have raised are kangaroos, a blue tongue lizard, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice (as pets), rats, a hamster, geese, chickens, pigs, turkeys, guinea fowl, cockatiels, lorikeets, other parrots, and tropical fish.

It would be a pleasure to meet you and your furry, feathered or smooth skinned families.

My name is Emily Broadway. I have lived in Spring Creek for almost 16 years now. I am currently a stay at home mom to two little boys and two beautiful kitties Rooster and Cersei. I have grown up around all sorts of animals my whole life and I am happy to be around so many fur babies agains!

Hello! My name is Alissa. I moved to Spring Creek in 2015, and I grew up in a small town in NW Montana. For the past 5 years I have worked underground for Nevada Gold Mines. I recently made the decision to leave that position in order to take better care of myself and my family, so I now hold the titles of a stay at home wife, stepmom, and fur momma. I have five dogs Hades, Hera, Harlea, Havoc and Halo. I also have 2 cats, Bubbles and Wanda, along with a whole flock of chickens! I have always loved animals, so I can’t wait to give your fur babies the love they need and deserve when you can’t be around!

I have had and loved animals my whole life, to me they are family. I was a manager of a horse farm in upstate New York, I had the pleasure of taking care of 30 horses. I also had horses of my own, as well as chickens, cows, pigs, goats and birds. I have also worked as a pet stylist. I have had many jobs in my life but the ones with animals have been my most rewarding. Right now I have two dogs of my own, Monty, my rescue Chihuahua and my Mona, a Boston terrier.

Hi Everybody I’m Angie! For the past 3 years I have been a stay at home Wifey and Fur baby mama to our 2 Labs Chopper, Lzzy and a ball python snake Ball Boa ♥️ prior to that I was in the medical field for over 12 years. I have grown up with all kinds of animals from being on my grand parents farm to having horses, dogs, cats, chickens, birds & rabbits of our own. A dream of mine is to have an animal sanctuary full of every animal I could save that’s how much I love animals. To me an animal or fur baby’s love is the BEST kind of therapy in the world, because it doesn’t matter what kind of day you have had as soon as you get home they are so happy to see you from whimpering with excitement, their butt’s just a wiggling and of course lot’s of loves & kisses. With all that being said, I’m looking forward to meeting new clients and spoiling your babies with lot’s of love & attention and of course I will always treat them like they were my own!

Hi! I’m Kailey. I moved to Elko, January of 2022. I have taken care of animals for 7 years in Kentucky and am super excited to be able to work with animals again in Elko. I also am going to school here for a Vet Tech program. My experience include working with many animals from dogs and cats to horses and iguanas. I love all animals because of how pure their hearts are. I have 2 calico cats of my own and am very excited to meet your fur babies.

Hi, my name is Sherry and I moved to Elko in 2010. I grew up in Colorado and have always had an assortment of pets. Our current menagerie includes: six cats, two geckos, one guinea pig, and eight hens. Most of our babies have been rescue animals. I have an easy, outgoing personality and pets warm up to me quickly. I enjoy taking care of all types of pets, and I look forward to the opportunity to meet yours!

(Tennis balls are life.)

(We lovingly refer to him as Fluff. He’s quite the princess;)
-a Sphynx girl, Fiona. (She hates everyone she’s ever met…with the exception of the little girl across the street.)

I’ve had pets my whole life and helped provide many types of care and love for friend’s and family’s fur babies, livestock, and critters.

Our English Springer Spaniel, Bentley is 18 months and a bundle of love and activity. I love fishing, hiking, travelling and being with my family.
