About My Business
Welcome to Home on the Range Pet Sitting LLC. My name is Kelley Richie, and I would like to share some of my background with you. First and foremost, I love animals! Dogs have been a big part of my life since my parents bought our first dog when I was four. Although I’ve had at least one dog in my life ever since, there has been a variety of other pets in my life, including cats, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, rabbits, and ferrets.

German Shorthair Pointers have been my primary breed for many years. My husband & I currently have 6 German Shorthair Pointers “fur kids and 2 cats.”

I have worked in the Heavy Duty Trucking business, parts sales and services for 35 years. I also have 6+ years of pet sitting experience. One day, I decided to embrace an opportunity to “re-invent” myself. I wanted to work with and care for animals, while pursuing my passion for excellence in customer service and utilizing my business and animal care experience. The idea of starting my own pet sitting business was a natural fit.

I am licensed, insured, bonded, certified in first aid & CPR and a member of NAPPS (National Association of Pet Sitters), the largest organization of professional pet sitters.

A 3rd generation Elko native, Erika Urriola has been house and pet sitting since she was in high school over a decade ago. It started out as just friends and family, but then grew and became the most rewarding "job". Things eventually slowed and as Erika was not bonded, licensed or insured, she wasn't sure how to continue. Enter the great Kelley Richie! Erika will continue to offer experience, dedication and an exceptional amount of love to her new clients and their pets. She has experience with shy, timid and abused animals as well as administering medications.

Erika and her fiancee are avid outdoor enthusiasts and recently acquired 23 acres of bare land. There are future plans for a boarding/rescue facility for all kinds of animals. They currently have 4 dogs, one of which is a rescue looking for a forever home. Erika was given a very tiny pit bull puppy when she was 22 and as he grew into 100 lb gentle giant, has shown her what an amazing and loving breed they really are. Erika loves all animals, but she would love to save at least a few more awesome pitties.

Hi! My name is Tina but many people call me Dog Mom. I had a doggy daycare called "Dog Mom's". But I am a Cat Mom too. I can't remember a day in my life without dogs and cats. I am a Southern California beach girl that moved here 31 years ago to get away from traffic. I love it here. My husband and I have three golden retrievers and one cat. They are our kids. I have had lots of experience with animals. I went to professional dog training school in Arizona, taught dog obedience, worked for a vet for 9 years, and a groomer for two. My husband and I own Pizza Barn and that keeps me busy, but life wouldn't be complete without caring for animals. I have loved Kelley's pet sitting services since she started it. I am so thrilled to join her team.

I am a proud mother of 4 children and 7 fur children. I have experience in veterinary medicine and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. I have been an animal lover for as long as I remember, it would drive my mother crazy when I would bring home every type of animal from fur, feathers or scales. There has never been an animal that I didn’t like or want to help. I show animals unconditional love and respect whether they are my pets or yours.

Certified Dog Trainer

I have several years of dog training experience. I rescued and trained my working German Shepherd, Jack, to be both my personal service dog and personal protection dog. I have worked hundreds of hours with Jack gaining him his obedience and trick titles. He is proficient in many skills including playing dead, sitting pretty, weaving in and out of my legs while walking, whispering a low growl, shakes, high fives, spins, and speaks on command. Jack is my pride and joy and I am devoted to him as he is to me. I enjoy working with him on my days off for Schutzhund/ IPO sport training and practicing with him to complete his Schutzhund obedience (BH) trial in the near future. I grew up in Southern California and from a very young I was obsessed with animals (specifically dogs and horses) and anything to do with training them. I was an accomplished competitor in dressage and hunter/jumper classes at both local and regional horse shows. I recently commented, “Jack has taught me so much about patience and the time and effort it takes to bring him up through the levels of training and always to set new goals for us to achieve". I enjoy constantly teaching him new things and working as a team to achieve our goals. He has taught me so much!

Hello! My name is Alea, I have 3 children, 4 dogs, 2 cats, a cockatiel, frog, and a couple of fish. I live in Spring Creek, but am from Utah. I am fortunate to have a husband that has let me do what I love - be a Stay at Home Mom to my kids, and animals for many years. I have fostered, tamed, and rehomed feral kittens during that time, and during my childhood. I love playing with animals, and teaching them tricks. My cats will even sit, and stand on their back legs for me (and treats!) I love furry, and feathered animals, and learning as much as I can about them. I am excited to get to meet new furry friends to play with!

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Three years ago my family and I moved to Spring Creek. I have been a stay at home mom for many years. I filled my days with homeschooling my son and loving on my fur babies. Once my son was old enough we volunteered at the Humane Society of Utah. We took the training for dogs, cats and rabbits.

I have six dogs: three dachshunds (one paralyzed), a chihuahua, a bassett hound and a german shepard beagle mix. They range in age from a thirteen years old dachshund down to my german Shepard who just turned two. Each of them have their own personality. I have four rescued cats who love to play at night and sleep during the day. As far as non mammals I have a bearded dragon. I look forward to meeting you and your pets. I will love them as if they were my own.

have lived in the Salt Lake, Provo area of Utah my whole life. I came here when I meet my husband and have been here for around 7 years now. I have always loved animals. I have had a pet of some sort my whole life. You know that you love animals more then people when your own father warns your boyfriend while he asked for your hand in marriage. We have 4 dogs, 2 cats, a turtle and fish right now. I can't wait to meet all of your animals.

Hi, my name is Dori, but my husband calls me “Elly May”.  I have been an animal lover from the time I was a small child.  I grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals, although; some were not your normal pets.  We had two raccoons, Ralphie and Raquel, our Boa Constrictor, “Boa” along with many dogs, cats, horses, cows, goats and other farm critters.  Needless to say; the one that stood out the most was our African Lion, Dudley.
My husband and I moved to Spring Creek two years ago from Denver Colorado.  We currently have our Thoroughbred horse, Rhett, Breezy our mastiff and Maggie our Shiba Inu, along with our three chickens, Rosie, Sophie and Jenny.
I look forward to meeting you and all of your babies~
